Hi Scouts!
On 24 July, we will be doing a community visit to the VicRoads Traffic Management Centre (TMC). It is home to one of the most advanced traffic management systems; the eyes and ears of Victoria's roads. We will be given a tour of how the equipment and how they actually monitor our roads.
Exciting stuff!! Radars and cameras and all sorts of cool gadgets! (Maybe they'll even change the speed limits on some roads for us)
It is a good week for car pooling.
When to meet - 7:15 PM outside VicRoads (60 Denmark Street, Kew 3101). We will be gathering at the carpark outside VicRoads. For parents wanting to drop and go a Leader will be in uniform.
When to pick up - 8:45 PM at Mackers in Kew (261-267 High St). Parents to confirm with a Leader before departing. No Scout to wander off alone please.
What to wear - uniform with scarf. Also bring some money to buy yourself a snack at Mackers.
