Stradbroke Cup is on during the Easter weekend from Friday 18th to Monday 21 April.
Scouts decided that Bay Park would be the best location. We may go up Thursday night.
The total cost was about $90 last time, and we should be able to keep to this which includes the Bay Park camp fee.
Please let Graeme know if you can go if you haven't already (I've noted who has ticked the activity on the Hall door) and who wants to be a PL. Patrols are from 4 to 7. We might combine a second patrol with another troop, e.g. Linden Park.
So far we have Renee, Lachie, Ollie, Roman, Lewis and Whitney down to go. That's one patrol of 6.
It is a competition camp with lots of activities. PLs and their patrol set up the campsite and organise their own menus, cooking and when to go on activities. The assessment is a lot clearer this year with a new guide and score sheet. Most of the scouts listed have gone before.
The long weekend has lots of fun things to do combined with learning the skills of camping.
Scouts decided that Bay Park would be the best location as it was the most fun previously and most other scout troops from Boroondara will be there - so a chance to catch up with old friend and make some new friends.
