Hi Scouts and Parents,

Following our Troop Council this week we will have the meeting nights and some additional weekend activities planned.  A term program will be out next week.

Big Day Scout - Sunday 15th Feb - Around Melbourne CBD and Myer Music Bowl in afternoon.

Patrol Leaders Course (PLOB) - Monday 16 Feb evening, Weekend 21-22 Feb.
For 13yo and older current and potential Patrol Leaders and Assistant Patrol Leaders.
Patrol based leadership learning in action with a journey and challenges.

District Raft Race and Camp at Cresco Park - 14 - 15 March
At Warrandyte - Only 40 min away - flexible arrival on Saturday to work around sport etc, make rafts and chill out on Sat Evening.  Prepare to race rafts on Sun Morning. Finishing around 1-2pm on Sunday.  Contact David for this.

Stradbroke Cup - 3-6 April over Easter - Bay Park, Mt Martha.
If you are going to Jamboree, you need to do this one to get 4 nights under canvas.
It is a competition camp where the scouts put up their own patrol campsites and cook for themselves.
Plenty of activities are run in between learning camping skills.  As chilled out or intense as the scouts want it to be.  Bookings are open now. We won two Gold pennants here last year!  Contact Tjon.

Scouthike - Term 2 - 15-17 May - Tallarook State Forest.
Learners Patrols are teamed with a leader or Competition Patrols.  Hike to get to activities and camp out two nights.  Bookings are open now.  Contact Graeme for this one.
Excellent way for younger scouts to learn some hiking skills in a well supported environment.
