A few people have asked about Jamboree recently;

Important There are prerequisites to a scout attending, such as having at least 10 nights 'under canvas' (camping/hiking), and having spent at least 4 nights under canvas consecutively. (To help with this, Countdown 108 is a four night camp coming up, and we will have more camps during the year.)
A scout also needs to have their Pioneer award, which is not difficult to achieve, but requires some attention from the scout.
Cost: The Jamboree is very expensive, but also a fantastic and memorable experience. Generally the scouts spend the months or years approaching fundraising to help offset the cost. This is something for the attendee's parent's group to organize.
