Proficiency night

Hi Scouts,

Firstly we are pleased to announce Michael Klaassen has become an assistant leader which is great news for our troop! Welcome Michael and thank you!

This Wednesday 3rd of August will be proficiency night. Fun games, and a showcase of our sports and interests. We are asking each scout to do a short presentation. You can prepare by having a look on page 88 of your green book at the proficiency badges you can earn. There are 31 to choose from! Bring your sports uniform, something from a collection, documentation, musical instrument to play or make a short video demonstration at home which we can play on the projector at scouts (eg piano performance, video of pets). Videos can be emailed to Jon at pinball@ihug.com.au.

We hope that scouts will earn a badge on the night and get well underway to earning more. You will have to meet all qualifications, this is not a handout!

Please also remember to bring your sold or unsold raffle tickets and money this week if you haven't already done so.

Uniform and green book as usual.

Looking ahead

Wednesday 10th of August 7pm will be Showtime. This is an annual theatrical production, written, produced and performed by the Scouts and Guides of Boroondara. Camberwell Showtime began in 1965, and in 2014 we celebrated our 50th birthday. It is the largest youth and performing arts activity in the City of Boroondara.

Tickets can be booked through following the link at Trybooking. TryBooking. We have booked 15 tickets for scouts. Please use the above link so you can sit together with the other scouts. Whitney and Claudia are performing, so come along and support them while having a fun night out!

Camberwell Showtime performs at:

Lastly have you written in your diaries all the dates for camps this year?
