Wednesday 20th of July: Sign writing night.
This week at scouts we will be painting signs for our big scout garage sale on Saturday. Scouts should wear old clothes that can get paint on them and just bring their scarf for parade. Also a warm jacket or jumper as we will go outside in patrols and put our signs up about the streets.
Younger scouts will have a choice of signwriting or they can make stretchers as part of their emergencies badge.
Camps for the rest of the year
The scout leaders are planning lots of camps as the weather warms up. We will add more detail to the calendar as details become available but lock the dates into your diaries now:
19th-21st of August: Place to be finalised.
30h of September-2nd of October (Grand Final weekend): Place to be finalised.
8th-9th of October: Family camp Anglesea
22nd-23rd of October: Plob camp: For senior scouts and patrol leaders it stands for Patrol Leaders Of Bundoora and is a youth leadership course.
25th of November-27th of November: Gilweroo camp. http://www.gilweroo.com.au
9th -11th of December: Troop council Hunger games camp for pioneer level and above scouts.
26th of December: Depart for NZ Jamboree and Christchurch :))
