Hi Scouts,
This Wednesday, 9th of November is trade it up night. Each patrol starts with a paper clip, and as a patrol with a leader or parent helper supervising they knock on local residents doors trading for what ever they can get. Patrol with the coolest item at the end of the night wins ! Scouts please wear a warm jacket as you will be outside for much of the evening. Full uniform and book as usual.
Looking ahead:
Saturday November 12: Community service opportunity is coming up for those scouts wanting to get a few hours up for their pioneer and Explorer level. Scouts will be selling sausages at Noble park skatepark at a skateboarding competition charity event. All money raised goes towards African water tank projects. There will be a morning 9-12 time slot and an afternoon 12-4 time slot. I will have a roster for scouts to register at scouts on Wednesday. more details here… http://mosswaterproject.com/
Gillarroo: 25th-27th of November. A lot of scouts have signed up which is great, but we need some parents to help transport our 16 scouts to and from Gillaroo as it is too far to walk! (we also need one more parent helper to make up numbers for the camp to go ahead). Please let Jon know if you are able to help out.
