Hi Scouts,
The end of the year is quickly approaching and your scout leaders still many fantastic activities planned.
This Wednesday, 7th of December, we will be visiting 1st Glen Iris scouts. This will be a great night, with about 60 scouts in total. Lots of games are planned (Parents, you may want to bring a towel for your scouts to sit on for the car ride home !). We will meet at their hall, Ferndale Park, 101 Glen Iris Rd. Glen Iris, at 7pm. Pick up will be at 8:45. Uniform and green book as usual.
Looking ahead
Hunger Games Camp: Ben has planned a camp for 9th-11th of December. Ben is organising the camp as part of his green cord and needs a few more scouts to make it happen. The weather this weekend will be low 20's so will be perfect for camping. Please let Ben know asap if you can join in.
Wednesday 14th will be a joint end of year break up with Cubs.
Friday 16th troop council will sleep over at the hall with a pizza and movie night.
Christmas trees: Volunteers are still needed to sell Christmas trees. We know it is busy but by doing this now, means we can keep fees low and don't need to do other fundraising activities. If you haven't registered for at least 2 spots please do so now!. Volunteers especially needed for Saturday 10th afternoon, and Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th.
