We just got back from Raft Race, where one raft (we sent three this camp, wow!), Ben and the Princess Powers, won 3rd place! Great job to Ben, Noellie, Claudia, Poppy, and Hayley! This week is Bike Night, starting at the Scout Hall. We will be playing some games on the bicycles, plus making sure everyone knows how to maintain their bikes, and their bike road rules! After that, we will be going on a ride around the neighbourhood. Helmets and bike lights are mandatory.

WHAT IS TOP GEAR SCOUT 2017?
Are Your Scouts ready for 2 days of action packed fun at Mafeking Rover Park?
At Top Gear Scout 2017 your Scouts will compete against other Patrols over the weekend in such activities as BMX Bikes, Billy Carts (both Downhill and Cross Country) & Archery. For those aged 12 and up they have the opportunity to learn how to drive in our very own Junior Development Program (JDP).
There will also be Car Smashing, an Obstacle Course, Car Racing Video Games, Movies and many more fun things to do!
This is a Fully Catered Weekend so there is no need for Your Scouts to miss out on any of the action by needing to return to camp to cook!!

We have booked 6 spots, and only Scouts above 12 can go. Total cost per Scout is $155 (including the bus trip there and back with 1st Glen Iris Scout Group). It may be a bit pricey, but all the food and transport is included, and there a lot of cool motor sport type and expensive equipment that the Scouts get to play with.
