We will be learning some knots that we will be using to build our rafts for raft race, as well as some pretty cool games.
Duty patrol will be Penguins.
Just a reminder to sew on your patrol badges that were given out the other week, and remove any badges you have on the back of your uniform.
RAFT RACE CAMP IS THIS WEEKEND !
We
have a booking at the camp ground at Cresco scout park on the river for 16
scouts. We have 32 in our troop so first in best dressed.
We
will depart the scout hall Friday 24th Feb 5.30 pm and set up camp.
Saturday
we build our rafts and have fun ! 1st
Glen Iris scouts have the campsite next door so there will be lots of fun and
games with them as well.
Sunday
26th Feb we race against 30 other rafts from different troops down
the Yarra. Return to hall 3pm.
Cost
is $50 for the camp and race (inc everything)
Or
$10 to race only on the day. (raft entry fee)
Scouts
with sports on we can accommodate you if you cannot do two nights come for one.
If you cannot camp join us for a great day racing.
